Well, my story started with a discomfort of living the “normal life”. Three university degrees, prestigious office job at the Embassy, unbearable back pain and zero meaning of what I am doing. I have been always active – swimming, running, practicing Karate and at the same time very intuitive and exploring human psyche. Yoga linked physical and subtle together and beyond. From day one I felt in my plate and also sensed that this practice is only a beginning of my journey.
I shoved uni diplomas into the drawer and started it all over again. Yoga, Psychology, Neuroplasticity, Applied Anatomy, Pregnancy, Pilates, Sports Education, Meditation, Coaching, Montessori, Kaizen and Habits. Various proven tools that avail a Better Daily Life. Too busy to exercise, eat healthy or pause for a moment? Been there, done that. As a single mum and solo entrepreneur I juggle heaps of responsibilities and yet… Everything is possible when you define priorities and start changing your habits. Just one tiny step at a time. To smoothen your road to a better daily life, I create short routines and courses for you to start whatever little time you have. Less pain, more clarity, better communication and more compassion.
The weirdest place I taught yoga were the ruins of former palace in Kinshasa (Africa). Not a single malarial mosquito deared to intrude our sacred practice, albeit it was a rainy season. The funniest meditation was in Melbourne metro – the whole carriage signed up for it. The most freaky experience – a fainted lady in the class – kept on teaching the class whilst bringing her back to life. The most rewarding and transformational are retreats – deep dive beyond mundane.
I have been teaching yoga for over 18 years. I graduated from the Melbourne Yoga Institute, studied Yin Yoga in Poland, Prenatal Yoga in Sydney, and earned a specialisation in Sports at Vytautas Magnus University. I have completed internships in India, Thailand, Indonesia, Spain, and Germany. Certified in Polestar Pilates, Miofascial Release, Pelvic Floor Anatomy and Meditation coaching.
I lead Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Nidra yoga sessions, as well as meditation practices. Whilst emphasising safe alignment in the poses, proper breathing and mindfulness, I encourage students to embody yoga philosophy in their daily lives.
Each stage of my life enriched my teaching with a new dimension.
While pregnant, I created an online Prenatal yoga course. Motherhood brought Montessori – a way to raise kids in a respectful and empowering way. Amongst other things, I also learned a lot about human psyche and how important is hand to brain connection.
Solo entrepreneurship pushed me into coining a Soft Productivity Lifestyle. It helps to achieve goals in a sustainable way. Being gentle with yourself, staying present, prioritising self care and moving with the flow – seems too good to be true to earn a living? Well, if I did, you can do it too.
I am fascinated by Japanese philosophy, subtle aesthetics, wabi-sabi, and minimalism. I enjoy slow mornings with a book (short, but sweet), spending time in nature, and unique handmade items polished by time.
And I write letters. By hand, yep, in the old-fashioned way. In fact, you can receive one (and write one as well) as a part of my self-discovery programme.
